In 1998, the doors opened to The Possum Kingdom Lake Welcome Center located on Park Road 36 on the eastside of Possum Kingdom Lake. In a world where technology can often cut us off from one another, Possum Kingdom Real Estate® uses technology and a co-working space to bring agents and the lake community together. What started out as an office providing real estate services and lake information has evolved into a beautiful destination with numerous benefits for local lake property owners, visitors from out of town and people searching for new lake home retreats.
We enjoy providing lake intel as well as the extremely popular Possum Kingdom Hike and Bike Trails Map, created by the Brazos River Authority. Having knowledgeable Team members staff the Welcome Center has proven helpful for thousands of people annually.
Starbucks coffee is proudly served at the café-style real estate lobby. This is a comfortable environment along with streaming current financial & news on multiple TVs, private conference rooms and outdoor patio. The coffee café has been a logical extension of the Welcome Center which is appreciated and valued by our local lake community and visitors of Possum Kingdom Lake.
Possum Kingdom Real Estate® agents use our coffee café in the Welcome Center — referred to in our industry as a “mobile workspace” — to access Wi-Fi, download materials, print documents and meet with clients in a professional environment. We provide the latest technology which gives our agents and their clients around-the-clock access to transaction documents and streamlines the home buying and selling process.
Major improvements are underway to the Welcome Center. We have been converting three wings of the building into luxury guest quarters because of the need for upscale overnight accommodations for our clients. Each luxury suite is unique and allows our qualified buyers more time to tour properties in the search of their perfect lake home.
The LUX SUITE is located on the second floor and has a king-sized bed in an oversized bedroom that opens to a balcony that boasts incredible views of Possum Kingdom Lake. The open concept living area is furnished with a couch that converts to a full-sized sleeper, which allows us the ability to accommodate small families. The full-service kitchen includes a refrigerator with an ice machine, two-burner cooktop, microwave and convection oven. The master bathroom is conveniently accessed by either the living area or the master bedroom for added privacy. It has modern and updated features that include a LED illuminated mirror and an extra-large tiled shower with multiple shower heads for a spa-type showering experience.
The KING SUITE is a studio-type space with a king-sized bed along with a couch that converts to a twin-sized sleeper. A kitchenette is provided that includes a small sink, refrigerator, two-burner cooktop, microwave and convection oven. This Suite is perfect for couples or families with one small child. The private restroom offers a walk-in shower and a LED illuminated mirror.
By adding these recent modifications to our Welcome Center, we have created an environment that is functional, comfortable and convenient while providing necessary services for our clients visiting Possum Kingdom Lake.
